The Circle of Promise campaign will be supported by organizations that believe in our movement and are committed to having a positive impact on the African American community.

The following organizations are founding supporters of the Circle of Promise campaign:

Ford Motor Company

	To date, Ford has dedicated more than $90 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
	Ford Motor company wanted to extend its Warriors in Pink Program in order to have a stronger presence in the African American community, so Ford has partnered with ESSENCE magazine and Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to launch Susan G. Komen for the Cure®’s Circle of Promise, an African American engagement program
	Ford Motor Company, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and ESSENCE are partners in the effort to deliver the early detection message
	Ford will take Circle of Promise on the road with them through its college tour and help motivate young African American women to join the movement

ESSENCE

	ESSENCE will challenge its readers to take control of their health and the health of other black women by making a personal promise to join the campaign and take the movement to their communities, their churches and their families
	ESSENCE will generate awareness and support for the Circle of Promise by utilizing their magazine, website and select ESSENCE events

The Links, Incorporated

	The Links, Incorporated, an international, not-for-profit organization of nearly 12,000 professional women of color in 273 chapters located in 42 states, the District of Columbia and three countries, has joined Susan G. Komen for the Cure®’s Circle of Promise campaign.
	The Links, Incorporated will promote Circle of Promise to local communities by working with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® affiliates and the Komen on the Go™ mobile trailer. They will mobilize to reach and teach African American communities about proper breast health care in an effort to eliminate the disproportionate number of lives lost to breast cancer.
